We see Rewine as a collection of technology-based initiatives to overcome the inefficiencies of the fine wine industry. Our products bring together the key actors – the winemaker, merchant, critic and sommelier to enhance the fine wine experience of wine lovers around the world.
Although we focus on 5% of wine produced worldwide. Wine that is considered truly age-worthy, this market segment is still subjected to limited wine knowledge, logistical bottlenecks, an unawareness of best wine practices, unclear legal and international delivery restrictions. All of which results in a significant amount of this fine wine remaining inaccessible to the global buyer. Despite the great efforts made by key market actors, most of the 350 million cases of this fine wine produced is ultimately under appreciated.
